Ms. Herring is an RFP Manager, with primary responsibility for completing business proposals as part of Verus’ institutional business development efforts. She has over 25 years of experience working with institutional consulting firms and asset management companies.
Prior to joining Verus in 2025, she was an RFP writer and content creator for the consulting division of Wilshire Advisors. She also worked in marketing for Principal Asset Management. Her broader experience includes work as a PR counselor and writer for a variety of financial services companies and other clients.
She earned a Master of Science (MS) degree in journalism and mass communication from Iowa State University and a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in news-editorial journalism from the University of Colorado. Ms. Herring is accredited in public relations (APR) through the Public Relations Society of America and is a member of the New York Financial Writers Association.
