Mr. Benedict joined Verus as a consulting associate in 2021 based out of the Pittsburgh office. He provides a broad range of consulting services to help institutional plan sponsors meet their long‐term investment objectives. His primary responsibilities include assisting clients, collaborating with senior consultants to prepare deliverables, and in-depth quantitative analysis regarding strategic asset allocation, portfolio structure, and investment manager selection and evaluation. Mr. Benedict serves a wide variety of clients, including endowments and foundations and corporate and public pension funds. He also works with defined contribution plans and is a member of the Verus Retirement & Savings Plan investment committee.
Prior to joining Verus, Mr. Benedict was an associate at Wilshire, where he worked for over six years. Mr. Benedict supported several consultants and was responsible for preparing meeting deliverables, reviewing and disseminating ongoing reporting, and responding to client inquiries.
Mr. Benedict graduated from the University of Pittsburgh with a Bachelor of Science degree (BS) in Business Administration with a major in finance.
