Victor serves his clients from Verus’ corporate headquarters located in Seattle, Washington. He has been involved in the investment consulting industry since joining Verus in 1990. With over twenty‐eight years of industry experience, he has worked with a broad array of institutional clients, including major corporations with defined benefit and defined contribution plans, endowments and foundations, public funds, and Taft‐Hartley trusts. Victor is actively involved with clients in improving their overall governance approach and in the development of their strategic planning, including asset allocation and investment policy development, plan design, investment manager evaluation and selection, performance evaluation, continuing education, and the coordination of special projects.
Previously, Victor was the firm’s director of manager research and responsible for overseeing the evaluation and research of investment strategies and coordinating the preparation of investment manager analytics and research reports. He originally joined the firm in 1990 as an analyst and was promoted to senior analyst soon thereafter to manage the analyst team and the client reporting operations.
Victor is a graduate of Seattle University where he earned a bachelor of arts (BA) degree in business administration with an emphasis in finance. He is currently a member of the advisory board for the finance department of Seattle University’s Albers School of Business and Economics. He is a longstanding member of the Seattle chapter of the Western Pension & Benefits Council and served as a member of their board of directors from 2011 to 2014. Victor remains actively involved with the Western Pension & Benefits Council and most recently served as the chair for the Seattle chapter’s 2016 Spring Seminar event.
